If you want to import another track you must mix it with your current track. One big drawback to the app is the inability to have multiple tracks on your timeline. That said, the help documentation in Lexis is pretty decent. For example, you must use the Import/Mix menu to export audio. The app is relatively intuitive, but some features can take a few minutes to find. You can access effects from the kebab menu in the top right corner of the screen. The list includes standards like change tempo, noise reduction, and a few distortion effects. Lexis comes preloaded with several effects you might be used to seeing in Audacity. You can even record a voiceover on top of an existing track. With just a few taps, you can start a new recording or import an audio file you want to edit.
